Q: What does my fur family portrait experience include? A: Your fur family portrait experience includes: A thorough prep call to design the ideal experience for you and your canine companions. A calm, personalized, and unrushed fur family portrait session for you and your pups! Same-day viewings of all the images from your adorable session—trust us, it’s always hard to pick just one! A complimentary artwork piece of your favorite image—an 11”x14” portrait at a $1000 value!
Q: Is my experience and portrait completely free? A: Yes! As the recipient of a complimentary session, your entire fur family experience is on the house. However, because our sessions book up quickly, we do ask our families for a 100% FULLY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $300 to hold their booking space. We’ll happily refund that deposit after your session! We’re also more than happy to apply it to any additional portrait purchases.
Q: What day and times are open for portrait sessions? A: We schedule our fur family portrait sessions on Thursdays and Fridays. We also are open on some Saturdays, but those days fill up quickly. We find that with notice and planning, our families are able to schedule their sessions on weekdays and take a little time off of work. However, if your family includes children under the age of 5, we’ll schedule your session before 12:00 PM for maximum smiles. You take your best photos when you’re bright-eyed and ready for the day. So do your youngest family members!
Q: Can I bring other animals to my fur portrait session? A: We adore all fur babies, but unfortunately due to building restrictions and photographer safety, our portrait sessions are only FOR DOGS.
Q: How many dogs can I bring? A: You can absolutely bring more than one dog for a full family experience. However, due to the size of the portraits and our studio, we request NO MORE THAN THREE DOGS per session.
Q: Can I bring my (human) children? A: Absolutely! Our furry friends are some of the most important figures in our children’s lives. We can even create individual portraits of just your children, as long as time permits in your session. We just ask that all children be over nine months old for safety. All dog portraits must have an adult.
Q: How many family members can I bring? A: We can comfortably fit 8 people and up to two dogs if the pups are medium-large in size. We adore large families, but we want to make sure we can see everyone’s smiling faces in the portraits
Q: How do I know what to bring? A: Not to worry, we want your portrait session to be everything you’ve ever dreamed. Once you make your reservation, one of our wonderful team members will be in touch by phone to share details and help you plan everything from timing to clothing.
Q: When do I select my portrait? A: We have reserved studio time with our art director to show you and assist you with selection of your images. Selection is done at this same appointment because is a very visual decision and difficult to do without having the images in front of you. Having a professional to assist you with that decision also makes the process easier for you so that you can have questions answered. For that reason, we do not send out galleries or make portrait selections at a later time.
